A video has been posted online that demolishes the claim by President Biden that his party isn't "anti-police."

It shows a long list of statements, in fact, from prominent Democrats that they want to "defund the police," a popular mantra that has developed over the last year or so alongside the Black Lives Matter movement that advocates judging people based on their skin color.

Biden's comment came in response to CNN personality Don Lemon's question at a sparsely attended town hall, the Gateway Pundit documented.

He said, "How do you respond to Republicans who try to paint you and your party of being anti-police?"

Biden turned away from Lemon, and said, "They’re lying. Look, never once. We have to change police conduct. We have to have rules where things are open. We have to have rules where you’re able to determine what the background, how many times a cop has violated the rules. Be able to have access to what’s going on in police departments so the Justice Department can get involved in whether or not they have to change the pattern and practices."

But a video featuring statements from Reps. Rashida Tlaib, Cori Bush, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley and many more Democrats provided exactly where was the lie.

The comments, often coming from social media, documented how Tlaib said, "When we say #DefundPolice, what we mean is people are dying and we need to invest in people's livelihoods instead."

Bush: "Defunding the police isn't radical, it's real."

Jamaal Bowman, "Defunding the police is about rebuilding our country in the image of our people – full of humanity, love, and care. particular for our kids and schools."

Cortez: "Defunding police means defunding police."

Omar, "The 'defund the police' movement is one of reimagining the current police system to build an entity that does not violate us, while relocating funds to invest in community services."

Tlaib and Pressley also introduced a bill to "defund police."

And Bernie Sanders, "Every police department violating people's civil rights must be stripped of federal funding."
