(THE COLLEGE FIX) – Brown University theatre students can take classes in playwriting, acting and directing. But they can also prepare for their Hollywood careers by learning what technologies are used by white supremacists to advance the “white male patriarchy.”
The Ivy League university class called “Unmasking the Technologies of White Supremacy” will “examine the re-emergent topics of white supremacy and fascism within the so-called post-truth political media landscape.”
Students in the Department of Theatre Arts and Performance Studies course will also look at the issues through the lens of “critical theory.”
