(THE BLUE STATE CONSERVATIVE) – According to the results of a new survey published in late October by the Pew Research Center, 45 percent of American adults believe the United States should be a “Christian nation,” while 60 percent believe the Founding Fathers originally intended for America to be a “Christian nation.”
To better understand the diversity of viewpoints, the survey’s results were combined and scaled with an earlier Pew Research Center survey on the relationship between religion and government published in late October 2021. Thus, among U.S. adults who say that America should be a “Christian nation,” their opinions differ.
