In what is being described as a "disturbing" development involving social media, a new report from the Gateway Pundit describes how an eight-year-old girl now is dating a 13-year-old social media influencer, with her mom's approval.
It involves Milana Makhanets, a Ukrainian social media star who reportedly has millions of followers on Instagram as well as on a program called Likee, a platform out of Singapore.
"Many of them [followers] appear to be pretty open about being pedophiles," the report explains.

The scandal has resulted in a massive uproar in the nation – especially considering that the girl's mother, Darya Makhanets, who runs her social media accounts, has been posting disturbing photos of the child with the teenager."
One image, now deleted, showed the little girl brushing her teeth, while wearing underwear. Another revealed the two apparently "in bed with each other," the report said.
The boy, identified as Pasha Pai, also has followers on Instagram.
Russia Today said the scandal included a statement online: "Pasha and I are now a couple."
The mom said, "This is their life, and they will figure it out on their own."
But, Russia Today said, there was a reaction from Gerda Weber, of Kiev, "Mila's mom Darya has trouble with her head. She sexualizes her own child for money. In addition to the squealing children in the comments, Darya doesn't realize that the lion's share of views come from pedophiles."
The report added that a post from a lawyer charged the mom "made a seductive woman out of an eight-year-old girl for perverts."
