(SLAY NEWS) – Democrat Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) has weighed in on President Joe Biden's controversial plan to wipe the student debts of college-educated voters ahead of the midterm elections.
Manchin spoke out in opposition to Biden's student loan forgiveness scheme, referring to it as excessive.
According to a report by The Hill, Manchin blasted Biden's plan to reporters on Tuesday. “I just thought that it was excessive," Manchin said. "I just respectfully disagree on that. I think there's other ways."
