A former official in the Barack Obama administration has admitted during an interview with MSNBC that Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden already has been speaking with foreign leaders.
News networks have announced that they believe Biden won the presidential election, but there still are results from several states that are contested, and there are lawsuits and challenges already being launched in several others.
In short, they election appears to be leaning toward Joe Biden, but it's far from determined yet.
And no matter the election, President Trump is, in fact, president until Jan. 20, 2021, so, as Summit News is reporting, the conversations between a private American citizen, like Biden, with the leader of another nation, if it's on government business, could be problematic.
Some believe, the report explained, that's "a breach of the Logan Act, the same law that President Trump’s former national security adviser Gen. Mike Flynn was prosecuted under."
Ben Rhodes, who was a deputy national security adviser for Obama, told MSNBC, "We're going to have the pageantry already of the president-elect announcing his advisory board. He's going to start announcing cabinet secretaries. The center of political gravity in this country and the world is shifting to Joe Biden. Foreign leaders are already having phone calls with Joe Biden, talking about the agenda they're going to pursue January 20th."
Explained Summit, "This is the exact same scenario that Obama advisers accused Gen. Flynn of being in prior to Trump’s inauguration, when the former national security advisor was purportedly communicating with foreign officials, including the then Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak."
Flynn eventually resigned and he's been in court ever since. The Department of Justice has asked the court to dismiss counts against him, but the judge obtained the services of another, retired, judge to continue the prosecution against Flynn because the DOJ wouldn't.
Flynn was "caught" because the FBI was monitoring Trump campaign officials at the behest of the Obama administration.
At the ZeroHedge blog, a report noted that former FBI agent Peter Strzok made notes at the time and it was Joe Biden himself "who suggested using the Logan Act against Flynn."

DHT News explained, "While various world leaders have congratulated Biden on his presumed victory, discussing policy agendas has many critics crying foul and accusing the former vice president of potentially 'undermining' Trump’s foreign policy."
The Logan Act bars unauthorized private citizens from negotiating on behalf of the U.S. government with foreign representatives.
