(THE BLAZE) – A former teacher who threw a hockey stick at a second grader earlier this year, after which the boy suffered a knocked-out tooth, pleaded guilty to assault this week, KMSP-TV reported.
Kimberly Neubauer, 63, of Princeton, Minnesota, resigned from her teaching position after surveillance video caught her throwing a hockey stick at an 8-year-old boy, the station said.

Neubauer was charged with third-degree assault in July in connection with the incident, KMSP reported, adding that she pleaded guilty to third-degree assault Tuesday and is scheduled to be sentenced on Feb. 23, 2023.
