Former ESPN host says female athletes fear being canceled if they speak about transgender competitors

(WASHINGTON EXAMINER) – Former ESPN host Charly Arnolt says she's taking a stand for women athletes’ rights since leaving ESPN, speaking out for those who are “too scared” out of fear they might be canceled.

“I cannot imagine the agony these girls are going through,” Arnolt told Fox News Tonight, referencing the national battle over biological males who identify as transgender females participating in women’s sports. “I know there’s so many of them who do not agree, and they are too scared to speak up because once they do, they know they’ll be canceled.”

Arnolt criticized various sports governing bodies that she said have made a “loophole” for transgender athletes to get in “the women’s way.”
