Coal miner: ‘The things we do in this state really drive this nation far more than someone like Bette Midler’

(CNS NEWS) – After entertainer Bette Midler called West Virginians “poor, illiterate and strung out,” a coal miner from that state responded by saying West Virginians contribute far more to America than anything she does – and that many West Virginians would even be better at doing her job.

In an interview on Fox & Friends First on Wednesday, coal miner Bo Copley said that West Virginians aren’t losing any sleep over Midler’s insult, especially since her career has been at a standstill for a while now.

And, while the things Hollywood’s liberal elites say get a lot of attention, West Virginians know that they’re doing more to drive the nation forward than entertainers like Midler, Copley said.
