Those Taliban terrorists who have taken over Afghanistan after President Biden pulled out American troops, likely the only force protecting the nominal level of freedom there, are known to have abducted, raped, and executed civilians already.
And following the weekend's collapse of the Afghan government and the decision by its president to flee, they took over Kabul as well as its presidential residence, from which they announced a new president.
But they're mostly fairly friendly, according to a CNN reporter, who noted pointedly their "Death to America" chants.

The reporter, on air, noted the chants, but said, "They're just chanting 'death to America.' But they seem friendly at the same time. It's utterly bizarre."
Mary Chastain wrote at Legal Insurrection, "No, ma’am. It’s only bizarre to those who haven’t paid attention the past 20 years."
A satire site immediately launched its own obviously un-fact-checked reporting the issue, with, "Afghanistan citizens face mostly peaceful executions, beheadings, and violent rapes … as the Taliban sweeps across the country."
It attributed the reporting to "CNN" and headlined the satire, "CNN: Taliban conducts mostly peaceful beheadings, rapes after retaking Afghanistan."
