The accident at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Supply, N.C., took place around 6:15 p.m. on Feb. 23, about 45 minutes before a 7 p.m. Wednesday service, when a small SUV crashed through the entrance and over the pews, leaving destruction in its path before stopping around the pulpit area. No one was killed, and the driver had only minor injuries, according to WECT.

The SUV that drove into the church had been hit by another vehicle. The SUV went airborne. The driver of the car that hit the SUV was at fault, WECT reported.
