(JUST THE NEWS) – A California bar owner has been charged in connection with making and selling fake COVID-19 vaccination cards.
California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control agents on Tuesday arrested bar owner Todd Anderson on charges related to identity theft, forging government documents and carrying an unregistered firearm, according to the The Washington Post.
Department agents reportedly spent a month undercover buying four fake cards for $20 each. During Anderson's arrest, agents found two more completed cards, 30 blank cards, and a laminating machine, the newspaper also reports.
