(LIFESITE NEWS) – Multinational bank Citigroup announced to its shareholders ahead of an April 26 meeting that it has pledged to support employees who want to have abortions.
“In response to changes in reproductive healthcare laws in certain states in the U.S., beginning in 2022 we provide travel benefits to facilitate access to adequate resources,” the bank announced.
Its announcement came under a section on employee development. “Citi encourages career growth and development by offering broad and diverse opportunities to colleagues,” the bank stated.
