Afghan native heading for U.S. detained at German airport for explosives in bag

(RED VOICE MEDIA) – An Afghan native was stopped before boarding a plane in Germany to the U.S. this week for having bomb-related items on his carry-on luggage.

The man was stopped at the Ramstein Air Base Monday for blasting caps and other explosives materials found in his bag. However, officials have said that they believe the materials were related to his job, not terroristic activity.

The man was removed from the line and is no longer able to travel to the U.S. According to a Transportation Security Administration summary, “[The] subject has been moved to a ‘red list’ and will not travel to the U.S.”
