(FOX SAN ANTONIO) We've all been there before. Short on cash at the grocery store.
"It was very embarrassing," Delmaretta Stipp explained.
The 75-year-old Stipp remembered hearing people groan as she held up the line at checkout.
“I started digging,” she told Fox San Antonio’s Ryan Wolf about her purse. “And, the more I dug, the worse I felt."
Stipp, who’s retired and living on the Southeast Side on a fixed income, said it happened to her last month at a Walmart. Her total was $151. She only had $138 in her wallet.
